Electronic Calendar System Based on STC89S52 Single Chip Microcomputer

At present, microelectronics technology based on single-chip microcomputer control technology has achieved unprecedented development. It is widely used in various control fields, intelligent fields, and simulation fields. The timing control and temperature control in the control field have been widely used in the fields of production and life. Liquid crystal display modules are used more and more widely in daily electronic products such as various measuring instruments, measuring devices, display meters, etc., and the requirements for the measurement accuracy and display accuracy of the devices are also increasing, especially for the measurement of time. Not only is it required to be accurate, but it is more intuitive and convenient to read the values. In this paper, the AT89S52 single-chip microcomputer is the main control chip, and the real-time clock chip DS1302 introduced by DALLAS Company is used as the clock control chip, and the 1602 liquid crystal display module is used as the display to design the electronic calendar system. The system can display functions such as year, month, day, week, temperature, and alarm settings in the same screen.

1 overall system design

This system takes the STC89S52 microcontroller as the core, combines clock chip DSl302, temperature acquisition chip DS18B20 and other peripheral devices, realizes a series of functions such as perpetual calendar, and completes the human-computer interaction function through the LCD screen and key control. The overall design of the system block diagram shown in Figure 1.

2 system hardware design

2.1 MCU minimum system

The one-chip computer used in the design of this system is AT89S52, its internal is 8 CPUs, 8 KB on-chip ROM and 256 B of available on-chip RAM, 32 parallel I/O interfaces, two 16-bit timers/counters , Five interrupt sources, two interrupt priority internal structures. The minimum system of the one-chip computer is shown as in Fig. 2, the reset circuit and crystal oscillator circuit of the one-chip computer are shown as in Fig. 3.
