Home appliances industry standards will be formally implemented on July 1.

Approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, starting from July 1, two washing machine accessories standards, a dishwasher industry standard, an electric pressure cooker efficiency standard and a heater industry standard will be formally implemented.

On December 31, 2011, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology formally approved QB/T4273-2011 "Technical Requirements for Washing Machine Drainage Pumps", QB/T4274-2011 "Technical Conditions for Washing Machine Inlet Valves", and QB/T4272-2011 Dishwasher Washing Pump Technology. Requirements, QB/T4268-2011 "Electricity Limits and Energy Efficiency Ratings for Electric Pressure Cookers" and QB/T4096-2011 "Performance of Indoor Heaters for Household and Similar Uses".

Two washing machine accessories standards specify terms and definitions, product classifications, technical requirements, and test methods for washing machine drain and inlet valves; dishwasher industry standards apply to single-phase rated voltages for household and similar electric dishwashers. Washing pumps larger than 250V and output power less than 600W; electric pressure cooker efficiency standards stipulate the energy efficiency rating, energy efficiency limit value, energy conservation evaluation value, and test methods and inspection rules for electric pressure cookers for household and similar use; heater-related series standards stipulate households And similar uses of various types of heater range, terminology, product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation, storage and so on. The above standards will be implemented on July 1, 2012.

The new standard of the range hood, GB/T17713-2011, was formally implemented on February 1st this year. The new standard has increased the requirements for the transportation and storage of range hoods, introduced the international common building module, and standardized the length of the range hood. Dimensions, adjustments and improvements to the product's air performance, switch life, and other indicators, increased the requirements for new technologies and special features.

According to statistics data from China Yikang, in the revised project of national standards in 2012, there are 18 standards concerning the household appliance industry, covering products such as water heaters, dishwashers, microwave ovens, vacuum cleaners, and clothes dryers; in the development of national standards, There are 14 standards relating to the household appliance industry, covering home appliance safety standard projects as well as some performance standards and test standards.

It is also known that the China National Institute of Standardization, led by Beijing Institute of Technology and South China University of Technology, is working on the development of energy efficiency standards for air-energy heat pump water heaters. The standard is expected to be promulgated in 2012.
