Founded in 2007, Xinjing Diamond is the most advanced sapphire crystal growth plant in LED. The technology source is Monocrystal of the Soviet Union. In October 2007, it successfully produced the first 25 kg sapphire crystal. In October 2008, it produced 52 kg. In November 2010, it reached 80 kilograms. As of November 2010, the capacity of 2 inch ingots has reached 70,000 mm.
Xinjing Diamond's revenue in 2008 was NT$25.96 million. In 2009, it reached RMB 45.87 million. In 2010, it jumped to RMB 290 million. At the same time, it turned profitable. The profit after tax for the year was RMB 64.11 million and EPS was 1.52. yuan.
Xinjing Diamond's Q1 revenue in 2011 has reached NT$140 million. The gross profit jumped from 48.28% last year to 63.15%, the net profit after tax reached RMB 73.81 million, and the EPS was RMB 1.65.

Taiwan's Hon Hai Group's sapphire crystal factory Xinjing Diamond (5231) is expected to log on to Xingcai on April 25th. At present, Guo Lili, chairman of Xinjing Diamond, holds 3.47%, is the director of Sapphire Substrate Factory Shunjing (4969) Mr. Xie Jianfu’s wife, Hon Hai Group, holds 10.57% through Yuanqi Investment.
