GP4020

The GP4020 is a complete GPS receiver digital baseband processor that combines the GP2021's 12-channel correlator functionality with the advanced ARM7TDMI (Thumb) microprocessor to achieve a high level of integration and reduce the cost of the GPS receiver system. Reduces power consumption and adds functionality.

The correlator section of the GP4020 contains 12 identical tracking function blocks, each containing all the components necessary for capture and tracking, as well as other functional blocks. If 12 channels are not required, a single channel can be deactivated to reduce power consumption and processor load.

Microprocessor portion GP4020 Firefly MFI comprises microcontroller core, Firefly MFl microcontroller core comprising ARM7TDMI, Thumb instruction, Firefly BμILD module, JTAG ICEBreaker ^TM debug interface, UART, BμILD serial I / O, general purpose I / O and Watchdog function.

GP4020 has: configurable external data bus; operating power supply voltage 3.3V; low power mode; 1PPS UTC output; 3-wire BμLD serial input/output (BSIO) interface; 8 general purpose input/output (GPIO) Interface; boot ROM allows uploading software via UART; 8KB internal SRAM; PQVP-100 package; operating temperature range -40°C to +85°C.

The GP4020 can be directly connected to the GP2015 and GP2010 C/A code RF downconverters to form a GPS navigation system, GPS measurement receiver and other systems.
