Architects who don't want to be photographers are not good friends. Li Wei, after collecting 85 of the above three identities, put down the drawing keyboard and mouse in 2013 and picked up the camera. For him, design and photography are the way to express the world view. He chose the party he thought was more free and pure, and turned into a photographer.

"Good at outdoor, creative, travel and aerial photography. In the current high homogenization of photography, I hope to use a little 'idea' plus a little 'self-abuse' to create a different world in my heart." Li Wei Introduce yourself. Now he is based in Lhasa, exploring the world and exploring himself.

SkyPixel: When did you start to contact aerial photography? When do you like to take aerial photography?

Li Wei: I didn't use the drone for a long time. In the beginning of 2016, I got my first drone, the Phantom 4. Before that, I also saw the use of drone aerial photography at work, I was very interested in aerial photography. I was obsessed with the model aircraft from an early age, but the conditions in that era were limited. The "remote control plane" that I had been thinking about at that time had not been able to do so, but now it is my childhood "dream". The combination of drone control and photography is the best of both worlds for me. I still remember that when I first flew the Elf 4 in Tibet, I saw the picture taken after the aircraft flew up through the screen. I knew that the aerial photography opened the door for the new vision for me...

SkyPixel: What is your favorite subject matter now? Please use 3 words to describe your current style.

Li Wei: From the time of aerial photography, I am still a rookie. The so-called style I am also exploring, "extreme, objective, unique" is the three styles I am exploring.

The first is the ultimate. From the perspective of aerial photography, especially from a bird's-eye view, we can filter out many of our everyday perspectives and look at the messy things, simplify the world, and even turn it into a flat composition. Because of my professional reasons, I prefer this kind of image that is a bit like a flat style.

The second is objective. Because I think that many aerial photography works are more landscape-oriented, but I think that aerial photography can also record the changes in the world and discover the value of images. It may also be because of the reason of studying architecture. I prefer to use images to record, such as changes in the city, as well as natural changes. The angle of aerial photography can record these changes very well and intuitively. I am also slowly accumulating these materials. I hope to record these changes from a long-term, objective perspective, which is something more valuable than ordinary landscape photography.
