Appliance repairs need to hang business license from the next month

Recently, the Ministry of Commerce issued the "Administrative Measures for Appliance Repair Service Industry," stating clearly that home appliance repair operators should hang business licenses in prominent locations on business premises and clearly indicate the charges for service items and home appliance accessories. The management measures have been formally implemented since August 1st, and if they have not been authorized to engage in brand after-sales service, they will be fined no more than 30,000 yuan.

The Measures also stipulate that home appliance repair operators should provide maintenance service vouchers and charge invoices to consumers when providing maintenance services. The maintenance service voucher shall truthfully fill out the maintenance service items, detailed maintenance information, maintenance service quality responsibility, and precautions.

Suning Appliance related staff introduced that consumers should properly maintain the maintenance service certificate, because in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Three Guarantees Law, in the Three Guarantees period, repair three times the product can not be used normally, will be free to replace or return. If consumers do not properly keep this voucher, they will be troubled by their own enjoyment of the Three Guarantees service.
