The TPS92410 is an advanced linear driver with high voltage start-up intended for use in low power, offline LED lighting applications. It can be used to regulate the average LED current through LEDs in conjunction with the TPS92411 direct drive switch.

It includes a feature that forces the regulator current to follow the rectified AC voltage to achieve high power-factor and low total harmonic distortion (THD). When the power is high voltage-powered factor that is used for offline LED drivers. The device detects multiple forward phase dimmer edges, the regulator current changes to a DC level to maintain a DC current draw to provide for a triac dimmer"s hold current requirements.
