Matsushita Electric Works develops an OLED component with a luminous efficiency of 128 lm/W

[High-tech LED News] Matsushita Electric has announced that it is developing lighting OLED components, some of which have a luminous efficiency of 128lm/W.

Matsushita Electric said that the light extraction technology has been greatly improved in white-emitting OLED components. Specifically, a light extraction substrate made of a high refractive index material is interposed between the light-emitting layer and the glass substrate, and a metal having a high reflectance is used for the metal on the back surface. In addition, the optimum position of each of the light-emitting layers was calculated in detail, and elements were designed based on the values. By adopting these techniques, the total reflection inside the element is greatly reduced, and the light extraction efficiency is increased to about 40%, which is twice the original.

The OLED element has an area of 25 cm 2 , and when the luminance is 1000 cd/m 2 , the luminous efficiency is 56 lm/W, the color rendering index (Ra) is 91, and the luminance half-life is estimated to be 150,000 hours or more.

In addition, Panasonic Electric Works has also made a phosphorescent material OLED element with a full phosphorescent material using a blue luminescent material. The light-emitting efficiency when the light extraction layer was used was 80 lm/W, Ra was 83, and the luminance half-life was 10,000 hours. When the light extraction technique uses a hemispherical high-refractive lens, the luminous efficiency of a component of about 2 mm square is greatly increased to 128 lm/W. Matsushita Electric said that if the light extraction technology is adjusted, the luminous efficiency is expected to reach 130 lm/W.

Wirless Battery Par Lights

This series is LED wireless battery par light, the wireless design makes it more portable, the chassis design is compact, the weight is moderate, and it is convenient to transfer in the place. In addition to the traditional DMX signal control, the convenient mobile app control has become a more convenient control method, and the color and brightness are not inferior to conventional par lights. Equipped with a flight case with a socket, it is convenient to charge the lamp anytime and anywhere, and it can be taken out for use when it arrives at the destination, and it can be used for 24 hours after being fully charged.
