Liu Rui: Remote phosphor technology will drive the world of phosphors to change

On August 18th, the CTO Conference of the 9th High-tech LED Industry Summit held in conjunction with the 2012 High-tech LED Exhibition was successfully held in the AB meeting room of Hall 5 of Guangzhou Poly World Trade Center. Liu Rui, the manager of Intermec Optoelectronics Technology, elaborated on the importance of phosphors in LED lighting with the theme of “The Change of Phosphor World”, as well as YAG, TAG, Silicates, Red Nitride Phosphor, Non-YAG Green Aluminate. Phosphor application. He analyzed the problems of poor consistency, uneven spatial distribution and difficulty in heat dissipation of the white LEDs in the lighting package, and proposed a new development direction-remote phosphor technology.

He introduced that Intel's ChromaLit remote phosphor lighting source will change the traditional solid-state lighting design mode, and also provide lighting designers with a new creative design space, color control and flexible and efficient design system.
