Detailed explanation of the difference between EDM and arc discharge

Arc discharge is due to insufficient deionization between electrodes, the discharge point does not disperse, multiple consecutive discharge in the same place formed, it is a stable discharge process, discharge, the explosive force is small, the amount of erosion is low. The spark discharge is a non-stable discharge process, with obvious pulse characteristics, large explosion force during discharge, and high erosion.
