Based on such a situation, the country has decided to use direct broadcast satellites to help these regions achieve radio and television access.

At the meeting, Deputy Director Zhang Haitao said that China's TV broadcast coverage rate is 96.6%. Although there is already a large proportion, there is still a 3.4% gap, that is, about 42 million people still cannot watch TV and listen to radio. He said that solving these problems is also a major responsibility.
