Summary of construction and installation points of distribution box and switch box

1. Distribution box and switch box settings

(1) The distribution system shall be equipped with a main distribution box and a distribution electric box to implement hierarchical distribution.

(2) The switch box should be distributed by the final stage distribution box.

(3) The horizontal distance between the switch box and the controlled fixed-type electrical equipment should not exceed 3M.

(4) There should be enough space and passage for the two people to work at the same time around the distribution box and the switch box. Do not stack any items that hinder operation and maintenance.

(5) The distribution box and switch box should be installed correctly and firmly. The mobile distribution box and switch box should be installed on the solid bracket. The fixed distribution box and the bottom of the switch box are larger than 1.3M and less than 1.5M.

(6) The switchgear and socket in the distribution box should be firm and not loose or skewed.

(7) The working zero line and the protective ground wire in the distribution box and switch box must not be mixed.

(8) The connecting wires in the distribution box and switch box shall be insulated wires, the joints shall not be loose, and there shall be no exposed live parts.

(9) The metal box of the distribution box and the switch box, the installation of metal and electrical appliances, and the uncharged metal base and outer casing of the electrical appliances in the box must be protected and grounded. The protective neutral should be connected through the terminal block.

(10) The distribution box and switch box must be protected from rain, dust, and smashing.

2. Selection of electrical devices

(1) The electrical appliances in the distribution box and switch box must be reliable and intact, and it is not allowed to use damaged or unqualified electrical appliances.

(2) The main distribution box shall be equipped with total automatic switch and shunt automatic switch, main fuse and shunt fuse, and leakage protector. The rated value and action setting value of the main switchgear should be compatible with the shunt switchgear.

(3) The main distribution box shall be equipped with a voltmeter, a total current meter, a total electricity meter and other instruments.

(4) The distribution electric box shall be equipped with a total automatic switch and shunt automatic switch, a total fuse and a shunt fuse. The rated value and action setting value of the main switchgear should be compatible with the shunt switchgear.

(5) Each electrical equipment should have its own dedicated switch box. It must implement the “one machine and one brake” system. It is strictly forbidden to directly control two or more electrical equipment with the same switchgear.

(6) The switchgear in the switch box must be able to use the electrical equipment to perform power isolation under any circumstances.

(7) A leakage protector must be installed in the switch box. The leakage protector shall be installed on the load side of the power distribution box power disconnecting switch and the load side of the switch box power disconnecting switch.

(8) The selection of leakage protector should meet the requirements of GB6829-86 “Leakage Current Action Protector (Residual Current Action Protector)”. The rated leakage current of the leakage protector in the switch box should be no more than 30mA, rated leakage. The action time should be less than 0.1S.

(9) The rated leakage current and rated leakage action time of the two-stage leakage protector in the main distribution box and switch box should be reasonably matched to make it have the function of hierarchical segmentation protection.

(10) The leakage protector must be installed and used according to the product manual. For the leakage protector that has been put on hold for a long time and used continuously for one month, the characteristics should be carefully checked and the problem should be repaired or replaced in time.

(11) Manual switchgear can only be used to directly control the lighting circuit and the power circuit with a capacity of not more than 5.5KW. Power circuits with a capacity greater than 5.5 kW shall be controlled by automatic switching devices or step-down starting devices.

(12) The rating of various switching appliances shall be in accordance with the rating of the controlled electrical equipment.

(13) The inlet and outlet of the wires in the distribution box and switch box shall be located on the lower bottom of the box, and shall not be placed on the top, side, back or box door of the box. The inlet and outlet lines shall be bundled into bundles and made into a waterproof bend. The bundle of wires shall not be in direct contact with the inlet and outlet of the box. The rubber distribution cable must be used for the inlet and outlet of the mobile distribution box and switch box.

(14) The power cord that enters the switch box is strictly prohibited to be connected by a socket.

3. Use and maintenance

(1) All distribution boxes shall be marked with their name, purpose and marked with a shunt.

(2) All distribution box doors should be equipped with locks, and the distribution box and switch box should be responsible for the person.

(3) All distribution boxes and switch boxes should be inspected and repaired once a month. Inspection and maintenance personnel must be professional electricians. Insulation shoes and gloves must be worn as required during inspection and maintenance, and electrical insulation tools must be used.

(4) When inspecting and repairing the distribution box and switch box, the corresponding power switch of the previous stage must be disconnected and the power failure sign must be hoisted.

(5) All distribution boxes and switch boxes must follow the following sequence of operations during use:

Power transmission operation sequence: total distribution box - distribution electric box - switch box,

Power failure operation sequence: switch box - distribution electric box - total distribution box

Except for emergency measures in the event of an electrical fault.

(6) When the construction site stops working for more than one hour, the power switch box should be powered off and locked.
