According to reports, in May 2014, the Chongqing Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences led the establishment of the Robot Industry Technology Innovation Alliance of Chongqing in more than 20 universities, enterprises, and scientific research institutes such as Chongqing University and Silian Group. Driven by this alliance, the city's robotics industry now has more than 60 core intellectual property rights and 34 innovative products, and it has promoted 61 scientific research projects. The R&D achievements industry has converted more than 10 billion yuan in output value.

“The strategic alliance set up this time is a supplement to the previous alliance.” Yuan Jiahu, chairman of Chongqing Robotics and Intelligent Manufacturing Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance, said that the strategic alliance has gathered 376 robot industry enterprises worldwide, and invited 151 guests. Domestic and foreign well-known experts in the field of robotics will serve as intellectual support.
